To diagnose presence or absence of air leakage in an intake passage.SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 includes: an engine 10; a first motor generator 21 coupled to the engine 10, and an HV-ECU 110 that is configured to be able to perform motoring control of rotating a crankshaft of the engine 10 by the first motor generator 21. The engine 10 includes: an intake air passage 13; a supercharger 15 provided in the intake air passage 13; and an air flow meter 131 that detects flow rate of air (suctioned air amount Q) that passes through the intake air passage 13. The HV-ECU 110 diagnoses that air leakage occurs in the intake air passage 13 when the suctioned air amount Q is less than a reference amount REF during execution of the motoring control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
