To make it possible to achieve downsizing and lightening while maintaining high rotation angle detection accuracy of an electric motor in an electrically-driven saddle-riding type vehicular power unit comprising a speed reduction gear mechanism which has a first gear fixed to a motor shaft of which an axial one side is coaxially connected to a rotor of the electric motor, a second gear which engages with the first gear and is fixed to an intermediate shaft, a third gear fixed to the intermediate shaft, and a fourth gear which engages with the third gear and is fixed to an output shaft, and is accommodated in a gear case.SOLUTION: A resolver 76 is provided at the other end part of a motor shaft 38, and a second gear 42 is located on an electric motor 25 side with respect to a third gear 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
