To provide a flight body for aerial wind power generation, which enables flight control even when a tensile force of a tether is lost, and which enables stable takeoff/landing from/on the ground to be performed by thrust of a propeller attached to an airframe.SOLUTION: A variable wing kite can control a flight attitude without dependence on a tensile force of a tether by having the function of self-changing aerodynamic characteristics, and can be lifted up in the windy sky by thrust of propellers 20a and 20b even when a sufficient wind does not blow on the ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
