To provide a hybrid vehicle and a supercharger cooling method capable of preventing a supercharger from overheating.SOLUTION: If a predetermined execution condition is satisfied when a travel mode of a hybrid vehicle is switched from an HV travel mode (enabling the hybrid vehicle to travel with an engine and a motor while generating drive force with the engine) to an EV travel mode (enabling the hybrid vehicle to travel with the motor without generating drive force with the engine), a control device of the hybrid vehicle is adapted to stop the engine after the same undergoes motoring (or self-sustained operation without generating drive force).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
