To provide a rear body structure which effectively transfer, to a center tunnel, a rear-end collision load of two paths of a load transfer path passing through a rear frame and a load transfer path passing through a sub frame and which receives the rear-end collision on the whole vehicle body for load dispersion.SOLUTION: The rear body structure includes a rear frame 15 extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction at a vehicle rear part and a sub frame 20 fixed on the top face or bottom face of the rear frame 15 at a plurality of positions and supporting a rear suspension arm, and further includes a reinforcement 30 which is joined and fixed on a rear floor panel 5 forward of the sub frame 20, extending forward of a vehicle body or in the oblique direction and the front part of which is connected to a center tunnel. A vertical width w1 of the rear part of the reinforcement 30 is overlapped between both of a vertical width w2 of the front part of the rear frame 15 and a vertical width w3 of the sub frame 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】リヤフレームを通る荷重伝達経路とサブフレームを通る荷重伝達経路との2つの経路の後突荷重を、効果的にセンタトンネルに伝達し、後突荷重を車体全体で受止めて、荷重分散を図る後部車体構造の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】車両後部において車両前後方向に延びるリヤフレーム15と、リヤフレーム15の上面または下面に前後複数箇所にて固定され、リヤサスペンションアームを支持するサブフレーム20と、を備え、サブフレーム20の前方におけるリヤフロアパネル5に、車体前方または斜め方向に延びて接合固定されると共に、前部がセンタトンネルに連結されたレインフォースメント30を有し、レインフォースメント30の後部の上下幅w1が、リヤフレーム15前部の上下幅w2およびサブフレーム20の上下幅w3との両上下幅に重複することを特徴とする。【選択図】図4
