To provide an armrest of an industrial machinery that is hard to rotate and has strengthened resistance to cause less looseness during use in a generally horizontal state and during non-use in a generally vertical state and that has lightened rotary operation at an intermediate position therebetween due to reduced resistance.SOLUTION: An armrest has an armrest body 9 rotatably provided with a support shaft 17B as a fulcrum, the support shaft 17B provided in a stay 17 to be installed in a seating seat 1 being journaled by a rotary support part. The armrest body 9 rotates between a use position and a nonuse position with the support shaft 17B as the fulcrum by inserting and fixing a guide pin 20 via a vertically extending, long-hole shaped guide hole 15 formed in a side surface of the armrest body 9 into an installation screw hole 21 opened in the support shaft 17B journaled to the rotary support part and moving the guide pin 20 while being guided in the guide hole 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
