To provide a connection member including a fiber-reinforced resin body as a reinforcement member which achieves both high strength and plastic deformation capability.SOLUTION: A connection member 100 has two insertion parts 102 having hole parts 101, and a connection part 103 which mutually connects the two insertion parts 102. The connection part 103 has a substrate 110 having a plurality of outer peripheral surfaces composed of metal, and a first reinforcement part 130 which is composed of a fiber-reinforced resin, is joined to a first surface 111 in the outer peripheral surfaces of the substrate 110 and has a substantially plate shape. The substrate 110 has a first portion 112 and a second portion 113 having a larger deformation amount than that of the first portion 112 when a load is input to the hole parts 101, and the first reinforcement part 130 includes the first portion 112 and has a first fiber-reinforced resin part 131 arranged so as not to include all the second portion 113.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
