To provide a simple-structure PBB capable of accurately moving to a predetermined boardable position of an aircraft body in a short time.SOLUTION: An aircraft passenger boarding bridge which moves in a virtual coordinate system with the intersection of a first axis and a second axis as the origin, includes: a rotunda rotatably which is attached to an airport building; a tunnel part, one end of which is connected to the rotunda, and which has a drive wheel and a steering that supports the drive wheel and can rotate the drive wheel around a vertical axis, the tunnel part capable of being extended and contracted in an extension/contraction direction passing through the origin by driving of the drive wheel; a cab which is connected to the other end of the tunnel part and has a joining portion facing and contactable with a side surface of an aircraft; a control device which controls the turning angle of the steering and the driving of the drive wheel in an advance/retraction direction; and a storage device which stores target position coordinate data including the distance in the direction of the first axis and the distance in the direction of the second axis from the origin to the target position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】簡易な構造で、正確に短時間で航空機の機体の所定の乗降可能位置に移動できるPBBが求められる。【解決手段】第一軸と第二軸との交点を原点とする仮想座標系を移動する航空機乗客搭乗橋であって、回転可能に前記空港ビルに取り付けられるロタンダと、一端がロタンダと接続され、駆動輪とその駆動輪を支持して駆動輪を鉛直方向軸まわりに回動可能なステアリングとを有し、駆動輪の駆動により原点を通る伸縮方向に伸縮可能なトンネル部と、トンネル部の他端に接続され、航空機の側面に対向して接触可能な接合部を有するキャブであって、トンネル部に対して接合部が航空機の機首側と尾翼側との間を回動可能なキャブと、ステアリングの旋回角度と、駆動輪の前進後退方向への駆動と、を制御する制御装置と、目標位置における原点からの第一軸の方向の距離と第二軸の方向の距離とを含む目標位置座標データを格納した記憶装置と、を備えるPBBにより解決する。【選択図】図1
