To provide a user with a sense of security by the manner of traveling via power supply facilities and improve the sense of security by informing the user of the possibility of insufficiency of available power in a power storage device.SOLUTION: An alarm device for an electric vehicle receives, from a user, the input of: a destination; and the desired number of power supply facilities via which the vehicle travels on a route from a present location to the destination until the amount of available power in a power storage device becomes 0 (S112). The alarm device selects the desired number of power supply facilities and specifies the route in such a manner that, when specifying the route to the received destination via the selected desired number of the power supply facilities in order of proximity from the present location, the amount of power which allows the traveling of a distance obtained by adding a margin distance to the distance of the farthest power supply facility becomes less than the amount of available power in the power storage device (S113-6). During traveling on the specified route, when the amount of available power in the power storage device becomes less than the amount of power required for traveling the distance obtained by adding the margin distance to the distance to the farthest power supply facility among the selected power supply facilities, the alarm device displays an alarm screen, thereby informing a user of an alarm (S123-5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
