To solve a problem that it is difficult to reduce power consumption of a temperature raising heater, in a conventional battery for a vehicle, because the temperature raising heater is wired uniformly for the lateral face of a battery.SOLUTION: A temperature raising device 10 of an on-vehicle battery has a temperature raising heater 16 disposed tightly to the lateral face of an on-vehicle battery 11. The temperature raising heater 16 mainly has a housing part 31, a heating wire 32 built in the housing part 31, and a nonwoven cloth 33 for supporting the heating wire 32. Sealed spaces 51, 52 are formed between the lateral faces 31A, 31B of the housing part 31, and the lateral faces 11A, 11B of the on-vehicle battery 11. Since air in the sealed spaces 51, 52 is warmed by the temperature raising heater 16, and intervenes as a heat conduction path, temperature of the on-vehicle battery 11 can be raised efficiently, and power consumption of the temperature raising heater 16 is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】従来の車両用のバッテリでは、昇温ヒータをバッテリの側面に対して均一に配線するため、昇温ヒータの消費電力を低減し難いという課題があった。【解決手段】本発明の車載用バッテリの昇温装置10では、車載用バッテリ11の側面に密接して配設される昇温ヒータ16を有し、昇温ヒータ16は、主に、筐体部31と、筐体部31に内蔵される電熱線32と、電熱線32を支持する不織布33と、を有している。筐体部31の側面31A,31Bと車載用バッテリ11の側面11A,11Bとの間には、密閉空間51,52が形成されている。そして、密閉空間51,52内の空気が、昇温ヒータ16により温められ、熱伝導経路として介在することで、効率的に車載用バッテリ11を昇温することができ、昇温ヒータ16の消費電力が低減される。【選択図】図5
