To provide a technique that allows for improving convenience of roadside units.SOLUTION: A roadside unit comprises a camera and a processing unit. The processing unit acquires first position information representing a position of an object in an image captured by the camera using the image. The processing unit corrects the acquired first position information according to correction information. The processing unit uses an image with a pedestrian holding a device to acquire multiple pairs of second position information representing a position of the pedestrian and third position information representing a position of the pedestrian transmitted from the device, and generates the correction information according to the acquired pairs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
