To provide a method of manufacturing a knuckle having corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a knuckle (100) includes stacking a plurality of pattern layers by repeating a plurality of cycles of (A) a process of forming a raw material powder layer containing an Al alloy powder allowing for producing a columnar crystal by fusion/heating and solidification and (B) a process of irradiating a particular region of a raw material powder layer with a laser beam while scanning it and making the particular region of the raw material powder layer into a pattern layers by fusion and solidification. In a side portion existing around a hollow portion of the knuckle, as for a ready-to-corrode face (S2) existing in a traverse direction to a stacking direction and its vicinity, a heat-conductive member (110) is abutted against an outer peripheral surface of the side portion so as to flow at least part of heat not used in fusing the raw material powder during irradiating the laser beam to the heat-conductive member (110), thereby producing a columnar crystal(C2) oriented in the traverse direction to the stacking direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】耐腐食性を有するナックルの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】溶融加熱および凝固により柱状晶を生成することが可能なAl合金粉末を含む原料粉末層を形成する工程(A)と、原料粉末層の特定領域に対してレーザ光を走査しながら照射し、原料粉末層の特定領域を溶融および凝固してパターン層とする工程(B)とを複数サイクル繰り返すことにより、複数のパターン層を積層して、ナックル(100)を製造する。ナックルの中空部の周囲にある側部において、積層方向に対して横方向に存在する腐食しやすい面(S2)およびその近傍部分については、側部の外周面に熱伝導部材(110)を当接させ、レーザ光照射時に原料粉末の溶融に使用されなかった熱の少なくとも一部を熱伝導部材(110)に流すことで、積層方向に対して横方向に配向した柱状晶(C2)を生成する。【選択図】図3
