To provide an on-vehicle solar power generation device in which frequent switching between a power generation mode and a power saving mode can be suppressed even under a weak light environment.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle solar power generation device includes a solar panel, a solar battery which is a temporal power storing battery, and a control unit that controls switching between a power generation mode for charging the solar battery with power generated by the solar panel and a power saving mode in which power consumption is suppressed, compared to the power generation mode, by stopping at least charging the solar battery. The control unit determines to switch the mode on the basis of an output value from the solar panel. During the power saving mode, the control unit restricts switching to the power generation mode on the basis of any one of the mode switching frequency, the amount of power stored in the solar battery, and a stop state of a vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】微弱光環境下であっても、発電モードと省電力モードとが頻繁に切り替えられてしまうことを抑制できる車載ソーラー発電装置を提供する。【解決手段】ソーラーパネルと、一時蓄電用バッテリであるソーラーバッテリと、ソーラーパネルの発電電力でソーラーバッテリを充電する発電モードと、少なくともソーラーバッテリの充電を停止して発電モードよりも電力消費を抑える省電力モードとを、切り替えて制御する制御部と、を備え、制御部は、ソーラーパネルの出力電圧に基づいてモードの切り替えを判断し、省電力モードでは、モードを切り替えた頻度、ソーラーバッテリの蓄電量、及び車両の停止状態のいずれかに基づいて発電モードへの切り替えを制限する。【選択図】図1
