To provide a theft prevention device and an outboard motor theft prevention system capable of comparatively easily preventing theft of an outboard motor.SOLUTION: In a theft prevention system, a theft prevention device 2 for an outboard motor 12R to be mounted on a ship 1 comprises: a vibration detection sensor 191 for detecting a vibration of the outboard motor; comparison means including a CPU 21 and a memory 22 for comparing a vibration of the outboard motor with that of a part other than the outboard motor in the ship; and notification means including the CPU and the memory for performing predetermined notification based on a comparison result by the comparison means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
