To provide a moving body position measurement system capable of easily reducing a transponder occupancy in a moving body such as an aircraft to a predetermined limit value or less.SOLUTION: A system for measuring a position of a moving body 1 by transmitting a question signal to a transponder of the moving body 1 from a transmission/reception station 3 whose installation position is known and receiving an answer signal returned from the moving body 1 by the transmission/reception station 3, a first reception station 21 and a second reception station 22 is configured to preliminarily have a question map 44a obtained by setting information related to the number of transmitting times of the question signal, a signal type, and a cycle so as to be put in an occupancy threshold or less at which the occupancy of the transponder of the moving body 1 is preliminarily regulated as a limit value in accordance with a traffic state of the moving body 1 existing within the transmission covering region of a radio wave transmitted as a question signal from the transmission/reception station 3 in a central station 4. When the transmission/reception station 3 transmits a question signal, the question signal is transmitted according to setting contents of the question map 44a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】航空機等の移動体におけるトランスポンダ占有率をあらかじめ定めた限界値以下に低減することが容易に可能な移動体位置測定システムを提供する。【解決手段】設置位置が既知の送受信局3から移動体1のトランスポンダに対して質問信号を送信して移動体1から返送されてくる応答信号を、送受信局3および第1受信局21、第2受信局22において受信することにより移動体1の位置を測定するシステムにおいて、送受信局3から質問信号として送信する無線電波の送信覆域内に存在する移動体1のトラフィック状況に応じて、該質問信号の送信回数、信号種別、周期に関する情報を、移動体1のトランスポンダの占有率があらかじめ限界値として規定されている占有率閾値以下に収まるように設定している質問マップ44aをあらかじめ中央局4に有する構成とし、送受信局3から質問信号を送信する際に、質問マップ44aの設定内容に従って、質問信号を送信する。【選択図】図1
