To protect a wiring harness from the fume etc. with high accuracy with suppression of a cost increase of necessary hardware even in a system which includes a plurality of control units.SOLUTION: By the configuration of a master power box 20 and a slave power box 30 in a manner capable of communication therebetween, a CPU 21 on the master power box 20 side intensively executes advanced calculation processing in order to prevent the fume of a protection target wire W12 on the slave side. The slave power box 30 transmits a load current value signal SG1 at regular intervals. According to the calculation result, the CPU 21 of the master power box 20 transmits a cutoff instruction signal SG2 at an appropriate timing. On receiving the cutoff instruction signal SG2, a control logic 32 of the slave power box 30 immediately cuts off a semiconductor switch 33 to stop electric conduction, so as to prevent the fume of the protection target wire W12. Thus, the cutoff can be executed at appropriate timing with the suppressed cost increase of the control logic 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ワイヤハーネスの発煙等に対する保護を高精度で実施すると共に、多数の制御部を含むシステムの場合でも必要なハードウェアのコスト上昇を抑制すること。【解決手段】マスタ電源ボックス20とスレーブ電源ボックス30とが通信できるように構成し、スレーブ側の保護対象電線W12の発煙を防止するための高度な計算処理を、マスタ電源ボックス20側のCPU21で集中的に実施する。スレーブ電源ボックス30は、負荷電流値信号SG1を定期的に送信する。計算の結果に応じて、マスタ電源ボックス20のCPU21が適切なタイミングで遮断命令信号SG2を送信する。スレーブ電源ボックス30の制御ロジック32は、遮断命令信号SG2を受信すると、直ちに半導体スイッチ33を遮断して通電を止め、保護対象電線W12の発煙を防止する。制御ロジック32のコスト上昇を抑制しつつ、適切なタイミングで遮断を実行できる。【選択図】図2
