To provide an electric power steering device which can correct a current command value for driving an actuator, which drives a steering shaft, even if a steering speed is relatively slow, and can suppress sudden change of steering feeling when a steering state is switched.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device comprises: a current command value calculation part 40 which calculates a current command value for driving an actuator 20, which drives a steering shaft, on the basis of at least steering torque; and a correction value calculation part 42 which calculates a correction value which corrects the current command value depending on whether a steering state of a steering mechanism is an overcut state or an overturn state. The correction value calculation part 42 comprises correction value adjustment parts 52, 53 which adjust the correction value on the basis of an amount of change in a steering position based on the steering position at the time when the steering state is switched between the overcut state and the overturn state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
