To improve a workability of an oil change without making it difficult to attach and detach a lower unit.SOLUTION: An oil tube 26, an oil groove 28 and an oil supply/drainage port 29 are installed in a gear case 10 of an outboard engine lower unit 14, where the oil tube extends upward from the front lower part in the gear case 10 and reaches a first connection position P located above the height position H of an anti-ventilation plate 11 at the front part in the gear case 10, the oil groove is connected to the oil tube 26 at the first connection position P, extends rearward from the first connection position P and reaches a second connection position Q located at the rear upper part in the gear case 10, and the oil supply/drainage port opens on the rear upper side of the gear case 10 and communicates with the oil groove 28 at the second connection position Q.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
