To reduce a situation in which communication of a vehicle having a high priority of information transmission is hindered even where many vehicles gather.SOLUTION: The semiconductor device includes: a communication unit for receiving a frame transmitted in a first transmission cycle to demodulate control information, modulate transmission data, and broadcast it as a packet signal of a radio frequency at a second transmission cycle; a cycle determination unit for determining a second transmission cycle based on vehicle information; and a transceiver control unit for generating a transmission timing trigger signal to determine a transmission timing of transmission data based on the demodulated control information and the determined second transmission cycle and outputting the transmission data to the communication unit by synchronizing with the generated transmission timing trigger signal.     【課題】多くの車両が集まる場所であっても、情報発信の優先度の高い車両の通信が妨げられてしまう事態を低減させる。【解決手段】半導体装置は、第1の送信周期をもって送信されるフレームを受信して制御情報を復調するとともに、送信データを変調して無線周波数のパケット信号として第2の送信周期をもってブロードキャスト送信する通信部と、車両情報に基づいて、第2の送信周期を決定する周期決定部と、復調した制御情報および決定した第2の送信周期に基づいて、送信データの送信タイミングを決定するための送信タイミングトリガ信号を生成し、生成した送信タイミングトリガ信号に同期して、送信データを通信部へ出力する送受信制御部と、を備える。第2の送信周期は、第1の送信周期と同じ、もしくは、第1の送信周期よりも長い。【選択図】図8
