To extend a cruisable distance of a vehicle group concerning rank travel control of vehicles.SOLUTION: A rank travel management system manages a rank travel by a first vehicle 1, a second vehicle 2, a third vehicle 3, and a fourth vehicle 4. The system includes: energy residual amount acquisition sections 51 each of which acquires an energy residual amount of each one of the vehicles; cruisable distance calculation sections 52 each of which calculates a cruisable distance of each one of the vehicles; and rank order determination sections 53 each of which determines rank order of each vehicle in a rank travel based on a cruisable distance. The rank order determination section 53 determines rank order so as to allow a vehicle with the longest cruisable distance to be a head vehicle and to allow a vehicle with the second longest cruisable distance to be the rearmost vehicle among the respective vehicles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
