To provide a sound absorption material having sound absorption performance in which an average sound absorption coefficient in a frequency range of 800-5,000 Hz is 0.70 or more.SOLUTION: There is provided a sound absorption material composed of a fiber layer having a plurality of holes opened on a top surface. The thickness of the fiber layer is 3 mm or larger. An inorganic material layer which contains calcium-based material as a main component is formed on the top surface of the fiber layer. The thickness of the inorganic material layer is 0.4-0.6 mm. The hole is a bottomed hole which penetrates the inorganic material layer, and has a bottom part in the fiber layer. The depth of the hole is 50-90% of the thickness of the fiber layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 800〜5000Hzの周波数領域における平均吸音率が、0.70以上である吸音性能を有する吸音材を提供する。【解決手段】 表面に開口した複数の孔が形成された繊維層からなる吸音材であって、上記繊維層は3mm以上の厚さを有し、上記繊維層の表面には、カルシウム系材料を主成分として含む無機材料層が形成されており、上記無機材料層の厚さは、0.4〜0.6mmであり、上記孔は、上記無機材料層を貫通し、かつ、上記繊維層内部に底部を有する有底孔であり、上記孔の深さは、上記繊維層の厚さの50〜90%であることを特徴とする吸音材。【選択図】 図1
