To enhance the practicality of a reduction gear which can be employed to a brake actuator.SOLUTION: In a reduction gear 46 including first inscription-type planetary gear mechanisms 70, 72 and second inscription-type planetary gear mechanisms 74, 76, an input shaft 52 is pivoted to a housing 40, a planetary gear body 66 is pivoted to an eccentric shaft part 52a of the input shaft, and an output shaft 48 is pivoted to the input shaft. Then, an input-side engagement distance Hi and an output-side engagement distance Ho are made equal, and an input-side inter-pivot distance Di and an output-side inter-pivot distance Do are made equal. The balance of a support load of the input shaft becomes favorable, and favorable efficient reduction can be performed. Furthermore, bearings 58, 60, 62 and 64 have less restrictions, therefore, a general-purpose bearing becomes usable, and a cost can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】 ブレーキアクチュエータに採用することができる減速装置の実用性を高める。【解決手段】 第1内接式遊星歯車機構70,72と第2内接式遊星歯車機構74,76とを含んで構成される減速装置46において、入力軸52をハウジング40に軸支させ、プラネタリギヤ体66を入力軸の偏心軸部52aに軸支させ、出力軸48を入力軸に軸支させる。そして、入力側噛合距離Hiと出力側噛合距離Hoとを等しくするとともに、入力側軸支間距離Diと出力側軸支間距離Doとを等しくする。入力軸における支持荷重のバランスがよく、良好な効率の減速を行うことが可能となる。さらに、軸受58,60,62,64に対する制約が少なく、汎用的な軸受を用いることができることで、コストを抑えることが可能となる。【選択図】 図2
