To operate an electronic device disposed at the vehicle cabin outer side of an interior material body part reliably from the vehicle cabin inner side with an infrared remote controller.SOLUTION: A vehicle interior material includes: a trim body part 21 forming a plate shape; a projector 61 including an infrared ray reception part 61B which receives an infrared ray and disposed at the vehicle cabin outer side of the trim body part 21; a through hole 31A which is provided at the trim body part 21 and transmits light between the vehicle cabin outer side of the trim body part 21 and the vehicle cabin inner side of the trim body part 21; and an elongated optical fiber 23 which is disposed at the vehicle cabin outer side of the trim body part 21, has one end surface 23A as seen in a longitudinal direction which is disposed facing the through hole 31A and the other end surface 23B as seen in the longitudinal direction which is disposed facing the infrared ray reception part 61B, guides the infrared ray entering from the one end surface 23A at the interior, and emits the infrared ray from the other end surface 23B to the infrared ray reception part 61B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
