To improve aesthetic appearance of an infrared sensor while securing its detection function.SOLUTION: An infrared-transmissive cover 30 is applied to an infrared sensor 20 mounted on a vehicle. The infrared sensor 20 comprises: a transmitter 24 for transmitting an infrared ray IR in the 900-1600nm wavelength region outside the vehicle; and a receptor 25 for receiving the infrared ray IR reflected by an object outside the vehicle. In the infrared-transmissive cover 30: a cover body part 32 covering the transmitter 24 and the receptor 25 has a base material 33 and a film layer 36; the base material 33 is composed of a transparent resin material having transmissivity of the infrared ray IR and has a grain 34 in one part of a rear surface in the transmission direction of the infrared ray IR; and the film layer 36 covers the base material 33 from the rear side in the transmission direction to fill uneven parts of the grain 34, reflects a visible light and has transmissivity of the infrared ray IR. The transmission rate of the infrared ray IR in the cover body part 32 is 50% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】赤外線センサの検出機能を確保しながら、意匠性の向上を図る。【解決手段】赤外線透過カバー30は、車両に搭載された赤外線センサ20に適用される。赤外線センサ20は、900nm〜1600nmの波長域の赤外線IRを車外へ向けて送信する送信部24と、車外の物体に当たって反射された赤外線IRを受信する受信部25とを備える。赤外線透過カバー30において、送信部24及び受信部25を覆うカバー本体部32は、基材33及び塗膜層36を有する。基材33は、赤外線IRの透過性を有する透明な樹脂材料により形成され、かつ赤外線IRの送信方向における後面の一部にシボ34を有する。塗膜層36は、シボ34の凹凸部分を埋めた状態で、基材33を上記送信方向における後側から被覆するとともに、可視光を反射し、かつ赤外線IRの透過性を有する。カバー本体部32における赤外線IRの透過率は50%以上である。【選択図】図1
