To improve estimation accuracy of a sleeping time in which a crew member can sleep while an own vehicle is traveled along a scheduled course.SOLUTION: A sleep proposal method includes: acquiring sleep history information of a crew member of the other vehicle at a spot on a scheduled course along which an own vehicle is to be traveled (S20); calculating sleep adaptability indicating a degree for an environment at the spot on the scheduled course to be suitable for sleep for each of the spots on scheduled courses (S22); estimating a sleeping time in which a screw member of the own vehicle can sleep while the own vehicle is traveled along the scheduled course, on the basis of the sleep adaptability (S23); and proposing the estimated sleeping time to the crew member of the own vehicle (S24).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
