To provide a floating tsunami countermeasure device capable of working as a breakwater, which has a breakwater part of the floating member that is rotated by a guided floating member when the guided floating member approaches the shore due to the tsunami.SOLUTION: The floating tsunami countermeasure device includes: a guided floating member that has a certain depth from the water surface; and a tsunami countermeasure floating member of a predetermined width and length, which has a contact part that is larger than the depth of the guided floating member and is connected to the guided floating member by a chain. When the floating tsunami countermeasure device gets closer to the shore, the breakwater part of the tsunami countermeasure floating member rotates and works as a breakwater.SELECTED DRAWING: None
