To realize power transmission having high efficiency in an arbitrary positional relation.SOLUTION: A power supply system for a crane hook portion comprises: a power transmission device provided on a side of a hoist rope, which side is fixed to a gib of a crane; and a power receiving device provided closer to the crane hook portion than to the power transmission device. This system further comprises: a positional information acquisition unit that acquires positional information of the power receiving device; and a control unit that controls each of reactances such that the reactance of each of variable reactance circuits, the reactance of a first variable reactance circuit and the reactance of a second variable reactance circuit have respective values, each of which is determined based on power transmission efficiency calculated using a circuit equation indicating the power transmission device and the power receiving device that use, as constants, a self-inductance of each of coils and a mutual inductance between the coils and that use each reactance as a variable, which are acquired when the transmission device and the power receiving devices are arranged in the positional relation based on the positional information acquired by the positional information acquisition unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
