    【課題】浅海域での洋上工事、特に着床型の洋上風力発電装置の設置やそのメンテナンス工事に使用するクレーンを備えた作業船において、作業対象物の高さに対応してクレーンの吊り高さを容易に変更できるとともに、クレーン作業をせずに航行するときは、クレーンの高さを低くして、エアドラフトを低くすることができ、しかも、クレーンの基部に作用する転倒モーメントが小さくて、クレーンの基部構造の規模が小さくて済み、船体の大型化を抑制できる、クレーンを備えた作業船とそのクレーン運用方法を提供する。【解決手段】作業台船1A等において、クレーンとして、複数個のマストブロック12a等を積み上げてタワーを形成し、タワーの最上部にクレーン本体を載置して構成され、マストブロック12a等の積み上げる個数によりタワーの高さを調整するタワークレーンを備える。【選択図】図1
