To provide an opening/closing structure of an instrument panel cover with high designability capable of easily performing the opening/closing operation and closing safely while securing sufficient forward visibility because of the compactification.SOLUTION: An opening/closing structure 1 of an instrument panel cover 14 has a four-node link mechanism. A four-node link includes a fixed node 2 constituted integrally with an instrument panel 12, a free node 4 constituted integrally with the instrument panel cover 14, and two lever nodes 6 and 8 for connecting the fixed node 2 and the free node 4. A spring mechanism 22 for cushioning is provided around a connection shaft 16 connecting each of the lever nodes 6 and 8 to the fixed node 2. The spring mechanism 22 at the side of the lever node 6 generates bias in a closing direction in a fully-opened state. Further, the spring mechanism 22 at the side of the lever node 8 generates bias in an opening direction in a fully-closed state. A connection structure connecting the lever node 6 to the free node 4 is provided with a damper 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】コンパクト化によって前方の十分な視認性を確保しつつ、開閉操作が容易であり、且つ、安全に閉じることができ、さらに、意匠性の高い計器盤カバーの開閉構造を提供する。【解決手段】計器盤カバー14の開閉構造1は、四節リンク機構を有している。四節リンクは、計器盤12と一体に構成された固定節2、計器盤カバー14と一体に構成された自由節4、及び、これら固定節2と自由節4とを連結する2本のてこ節6、8から構成されている。てこ節6、8をそれぞれ固定節2に連結する連結軸16の軸周りには、緩衝用のバネ機構22を備えている。てこ節6側のバネ機構22は、全開状態において閉方向へ付勢を生じさせる。また、てこ節8側のバネ機構22は、全閉状態において開方向へ付勢を生じさせる。てこ節6を自由節4に連結する連結構造には、ダンパー34が設けられている。【選択図】図2
