To provide a technology to estimate a flow of heat between a seat and a sitting person without using a heat flux sensor.SOLUTION: An air conditioner ECU 14, which is a heat flux estimation device, estimates an initial temperature Tsi, which is a temperature of seats when persons sit on the seats 2 and 3 of a vehicle 1, on the basis of output of an infrared camera 4. The air conditioner ECU 14 calculates the transition of a heat flux between the seats and the persons in a period after a seating time point t=1 when the persons sit on the seats. In the calculation of the heat flux, the air conditioner ECU 14 calculates the transition of the heat flux in a period after the seating time point by a first formula Σ1 including a time-dependent element ln(t) that changes depending on an elapsed time t with the seating time point as a starting point, and an initial temperature-dependent element ω that depends on the initial temperature Tsi.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】熱流束センサを用いる必要なく、座席と着座者の間の熱の流れを推定する技術を提供する。【解決手段】熱流束推定装置であるエアコンECU14は、赤外線カメラ4の出力に基づいて、人が車両1の座席2、3に着座する際の当該座席の温度である初期温度Tsiを推定する。そして、エアコンECU14は、人が当該座席に着座した着座時点t=1の後の期間における、当該座席と人との間の熱流束の推移を算出する。そしてエアコンECU14は、熱流束の算出において、着座時点を起点とする経過時間tに依存して変化する時間依存要素ln(t)と初期温度Tsiに依存する初期温度依存要素ωとを含む第1計算式Σ1により、着座時点より後の期間における熱流束の推移を算出する。【選択図】図1
