To reduce the amount of deformation of a vehicle body of a convertible vehicle at the time of a rear collision while inhibiting increase of the weight of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 20 extending in a front-to-rear direction of a vehicle is disposed to connect a rear side member 18 and a center pillar 16. The reinforcement member 20 is configured to include a gasset 30, an intermediate connection member 32, and a pillar side member 34. The gasset 30 is connected to the rear side member 18, and a front end portion of the gasset is connected to a rear side surface 32a of the intermediate connection member 32. A front side surface 32b of the intermediate connection member 32 and a rear end portion 34a of the pillar side member 34 are connected. The pillar side member 34 is connected to the center pillar 16. Thus, a load inputted by a rear collision to the rear side member 18 is transferred to the center pillar 16 in a load transmission route: the rear side member 18 → the gasset 30 → the intermediate connection member 32 → the pillar side member 34 → the center pillar 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車両の重量の増大を抑制しながら、後面衝突時におけるコンバーチブル車両の車体の変形量を低減することにある。【解決手段】車両前後方向に延び、リアサイドメンバ18とセンターピラー16とを接続する補強部材20が設けられる。補強部材20は、ガセット30と、中間接続部材32と、ピラー側部材34とを含んで構成される。ガセット30は、リアサイドメンバ18に接続され、その前端部が中間接続部材32の後側面32aに接続される。中間接続部材32の前側面32bと、ピラー側部材34の後端部34aとが接続される。ピラー側部材34は、センターピラー16に接続される。これにより、後面衝突によりリアサイドメンバ18に入力された荷重は、リアサイドメンバ18→ガセット30→中間接続部材32→ピラー側部材34→センターピラー16という荷重伝達経路によりセンターピラー16へ伝達される。【選択図】図2
