    【課題】保磁力が高い磁石材料を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態の磁石材料は、組成式1:(R1−xYx)aMbTcZnd(式中、Rは1種類以上の希土類元素であり、MはFe又はFe及びCoであり、TはTi、V、Nb、Ta、Mo、及びWからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つの元素であり、xは0.01≦x≦0.8を満足する数であり、aは4≦a≦20原子%を満足する数であり、bはb=100−a−c−d原子%を満足する数であり、cは0<c<7原子%を満足する数であり、dは0.01≦d≦7原子%を満足する数である)により表される。磁石材料は、ThMn12型結晶相を有する主相と、50原子%以上のZnを含む副相と、を具備する。【選択図】図1
