To provide a fuel cell module and a mounting method for the same which can suppress an increase in the weight of a case body while being adaptable to different mounting directions.SOLUTION: In a fuel cell module 10 including a case body 26 in which a cell laminate having a plurality of power generation cells laminated in a direction of an arrow j is accommodated, the case body 26 is provided with a plurality of connection portions 61 to 68 for mounting on fuel cell vehicles 80 and 80A. The plurality of connection portions 61 to 68 include a first connection portion group 60A to be used for the first fuel cell vehicle 80 in which the fuel battery module 10 is mounted so that the direction of the arrow j of the fuel cell module 10 is substantially coincident with a vehicle width direction, and a second connection portion group 60B to be used for the second fuel cell vehicle 80A in which the fuel battery module 10 is mounted so that a lamination direction (the direction of the arrow j) of the fuel cell module 10 is coincident with a front-and-rear direction of the vehicle, and some connection portions of the first connection portion group 60A and some connection portions of the second connection portion group 60B are duplicated with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
