To provide a rolling compaction machine capable of improving the maintainability of a part of a drive device concealed by a body component.SOLUTION: A rolling compaction machine comprises: a frame (5) forming the skeleton of an airframe (1); wheels (13) rotatably provided on the airframe; and a drive device (9) mounted on a frame and driving the wheels. A shielding member (30) is provided on the frame, separating the wheels and the drive device. An opening (39) that opens between the wheels and the drive device is formed in a shield member, and a lid (41) that can open and close the opening is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
