To provide a tandem type negative pressure booster that has a seal part to come into airtight slide contact with an outer periphery of a tie rod formed integrally with a front diaphragm more on a front work chamber side than a front booster piston and that prevents the front booster pin from coming out of the front diaphragm in operation while improving productivity of the front booster pin and also improving wear resistance of the seal part.SOLUTION: At an end part of a sleeve 45, fixed to a rear diaphragm 19 airtightly penetrating a bulkhead plate 10, on the side of a front diaphragm 15, an abutting press part 45d is integrally provided which holds the front diaphragm 15 with a front booster piston 14 at a periphery of a through hole 70 formed in the front booster piston 14, and also abuts on a rear face of the front diaphragm 15 while allowing air to circulate between an annular passage 44 and a front work chamber 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】前部ダイヤフラムに、前部ブースタピストンよりも前部作動室側でタイロッドの外周に気密に摺接するシール部が一体に形成されるタンデム型負圧ブースタにおいて、前部ブースタピストンの生産性の向上ならびにシール部の耐摩耗性の向上を図りつつ、作動時の前部ダイヤフラムからの前部ブースタピストンの抜け出しを防止する。【解決手段】隔壁板10を気密に貫通して後部ダイヤフラム19に固定されるリーブ45の前部ダイヤフラム15側の端部に、前部ブースタピストン14に設けられる貫通孔70の周囲で前部ダイヤフラム15を前部ブースタピストン14との間に挟むとともに環状通路44および前部作動室17間の空気の流通を許容しつつ前部ダイヤフラム15の後面に当接する当接押し部45dが一体に設けられる。【選択図】 図2
