To provide a technique by which a manually driven vehicle transmits a current position.SOLUTION: A communication device TE that can be retrofitted to a manually driven vehicle MC is comprised of: a position information acquisition unit 11 for acquiring a current position; a transmission unit 12 that sequentially transmits communication device information including the current position information to a communication partner at a predetermined transmission interval by low-power wide-area wireless communication; a receiving unit 13 for receiving information from the communication partner; and a communication interval setting unit 14 for resetting a transmission interval by using the information received from the communication partner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
