To provide an automated transportation system capable of reducing a necessary width of a transportation passage way.SOLUTION: This automated transportation system 100 comprises a load-carrying platform 30 attached on an automatic transportation robot 10, matching of a longer direction of a planer shape of a shelf that constructs the load-carrying platform 30 to a cross direction of the above automatic transportation robot 10 makes a shorter direction of the planer shape match to a width direction of the transportation passage way, the system comprises a regulation state regulating a forward protrusion of a load 5 from the shelf that constructs the load-carrying platform 30 and a stopper mechanism 40 that can take a release state where the regulation is released, the stopper mechanism 40 has an operation part 41 protruding forward from the front of the load-carrying platform 30, contacting of the operation part 41 to a support table 69 in an unloader side of a second shelf 60 makes the operation part 41 pushed backward relatively in respect to the load-carrying platform 30, then, the stopper mechanism 40 switches from the regulation state to the release state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
