To provide an electric vehicle drive device which can reduce the vibration and noise between gears by reducing the misalignment that may occur in a gear shaft.SOLUTION: A deceleration mechanism unit includes: a parallel shaft gear mechanism which has triaxial gear shafts 27, 28, 29 arranged in parallel with each other; a first casing which is provided with a bearing supporting one end parts of the gear shafts 27, 28, 29; and a second casing which is provided with a bearing supporting other end parts of the gear shafts 27, 28, 29, and is configured such that the first casing and the second casing are positioned by a pair of knock pins 80. Each knock pin 80 is arranged so that a line segment connecting the center of each knock pin 80 passes through any two of intersection points between respective apexes and respective sides of triangles formed by connecting shaft centers O1, O2, O3 of the gear shafts 27, 28, 29 when viewed from the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
