To detect a position of an object in the periphery of a vehicle, including a dead angle area of a driver, while enhancing robustness against the surrounding environment.SOLUTION: An acquisition part 720 acquires an optical path length rcorresponding to an emission direction (α, β) of emitted light which is peripheral information of a mobile object obtained by using a laser radar 910 mounted on the mobile object, road reflector information including a center position N on a map of the road reflector, and positional information on the map of the mobile object. An extraction part 730 extracts the optical path length acquired via the road reflector from among the acquired optical path lengths ron the basis of the acquired road reflector information and the positional information on the map of the mobile object, then calculates an object reflection position corresponding to the extracted optical path length.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
