To provide a vehicular power transmission device capable of downsizing and making it compact by decreasing axial dimensions.SOLUTION: A vehicular power transmission device 1 includes: an engine shaft (a first rotation shaft) 3 and a counter shaft (a second rotation shaft) 4 arranged in parallel to each other; a low-speed transmission gear row GL and a high-speed transmission gear row GH changing the speed of rotations outputted from the engine (a driving source) 6 to the engine shaft 3 to transmit it to the counter shaft 4; and multi-plate clutches C1 and C2 provided corresponding to the low-speed transmission gear row GL and the high-speed transmission gear row GH. In the vehicular power transmission device 1, the multi-plate clutches C1, C2 are respectively disposed on both sides in an axial direction of a gear 10 fixed to the engine shaft 3, and each clutch piston 31 of each multi-plate clutch C1, C2 and a piston chamber S defined by the clutch piston 31 are respectively assembled in both surface in an axial direction of a rib 10A of the gear 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
