To supply power with higher transmission efficiency than that in a conventional tire in feeding power to an element arranged in a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a planar reception coil which generates an AC signal by receiving an AC magnetic field transmitting through a carcass ply layer, and an element which receives supply of power converted from the AC signal, in a cavity area. A surface of a reception area of the reception coil is arranged in an area in a tire radial direction between an outermost part of a bead core in the tire radial direction and an innermost part of a belt layer in the tire radial direction so that the surface of the reception area faces in a tire width direction. When a maximum dimension of the reception area of the reception coil along the tire radial direction is a length D1, and distances from the reception area of the reception coil to the nearest parts of the bead core and a belt respectively are distances L1, L2, the reception coil is arranged so that the distance L1 and the distance L2 are longer than the length D1/4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】空気入りタイヤ内に設けられた素子に電力を給電する際、従来に比べて伝送効率の高い電力の供給を可能にする。【解決手段】空気入りタイヤは、空洞領域内に設けられ、カーカスプライ層を透過した交流磁界を受け交流信号を生成する面状の受信コイルと、前記交流信号から変換された電力の供給を受ける素子と、を備える。前記受信コイルの受信領域の面は、タイヤ径方向の、ビードコアのタイヤ径方向の最外側にある部分とベルト層のタイヤ径方向の最内側にある部分との間の領域内に、前記受信領域の面が前記タイヤ幅方向に向くように設けられる。さらに、前記受信コイルのタイヤ径方向に沿った前記受信領域の最大寸法を長さD1とし、前記受信コイルの前記受信領域から前記ビードコア及び前記ベルトそれぞれの最も近い部分までの距離を距離L1、L2としたとき、前記受信コイルは、前記距離L1及び前記距離L2が前記長さD1/4より大きくなるように配置される。【選択図】図1
