To provide an inexpensive workpiece conveyance device capable of smoothly and automatically conveying a workpiece.SOLUTION: A workpiece conveyance device 10 comprises: a motor block 20 that has a loading motor 28; a workpiece holding unit 30 that is lifted through winding-up/down of a rope member 26 by the loading motor 28; a link module 50 in which a link traveling unit 40 is connected to the workpiece holding unit 30 via a plurality of link arms 51; a rotary encoder 54 that is provided to the link module 50 so as to be able to detect a rotational position P as link information regarding a link arm length L; traveling motors 42a, 44a; and a control unit 60 that controls the loading motor 28 and the traveling motors 42a, 44a on the basis of the rotational position P detected by the rotary encoder 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
