To provide a connection mechanism, a conveyance apparatus, and a connection method which can facilitate operation for connection, and can improve safety.SOLUTION: A connection mechanism for connecting to a passive carriage and a conveyance apparatus includes a pressing member and a depressing member, and is connected to the passive carriage by interlocking pressing operation in which the pressing member presses a bottom surface of the passive carriage from beneath and depressing operation in which the depressing member depresses the passive carriage from above. In a connection method for connecting to the passive carriage, the pressing operation in which the pressing member presses the bottom surface of the passive carriage from beneath and the depressing operation in which the depressing member depresses the passive carriage from above are interlocked to connect to the passive carriage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
