To provide a spring lock mechanism which can switch between a locked state and an unlocked and retained state by rotation of a fixed member and a movable member, and exhibits high safety, and of which a weight and size can be reduced.SOLUTION: A spring lock mechanism 10 includes a first member 20, a second member 30, a lock drum 11, a coil spring 12, and a switching mechanism. A winding direction of the coil spring 12 is opposite to a direction of locking the second member. The coil spring 12 has a winding outer diameter in a free state which is 2-5% larger than an inner diameter of the lock drum 11. The coil spring abuts on an inner peripheral surface of the lock drum 11, a diameter of the coil spring 12 is enlarged and the inner peripheral surface of the lock drum 11 is further pressed, and rotation is locked by friction force. Operation of the switching mechanism includes operation of increasing or reducing a length of the coil spring 12 in the unlocked state with respect to a length of the locked coil spring 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】固定部材と可動部材の回動によって、ロックされた状態とロックが解除され保持された状態を切り替えることができ、安全性が高く、軽量且つ小型化できるばねロック機構を提供する。【解決手段】ばねロック機構10は、第1部材20と、第2部材30と、ロックドラム11と、コイルばね12と、切替機構と、を備える。コイルばね12の巻方向は、第2部材をロックする方向に対して逆方向であり、コイルばね12は、自由状態の巻外径がロックドラム11の内径より2〜5%大きく、ロックドラム11の内周面に当接し、コイルばね12が拡径してロックドラム11の内周面を更に押圧しその摩擦力により回動をロックする。切替機構は、ロックが解除された状態のコイルばね12の長さを、ロックされた状態のコイルばね12の長さに対し、長くするもしくは短くする動作を伴う。【選択図】図1
