To reduce dispatch of unnecessary rescue signals and to speedily dispatch the rescue signal when a passenger has fallen in water and rescue is anticipated to be necessary.SOLUTION: A vessel 1 is mounted with a controller 100 for carrying out radio communication with a portable machine 200 possessed by a passenger 4, and a lanyard stopping switch 2. The lanyard stopping switch 2 is actuated when a lanyard cord 5 connected to the passenger 4 is pulled out and stops the vessel by stopping an engine of an outboard motor. When detecting the actuation of the lanyard stopping switch 2, that is, detecting a possibility of the passenger 4 falling into water, the controller 100 starts radio communication with the mobile machine 200. Then, the controller 100 determines whether or not dispatching of the rescue signal is necessary according to the condition regarding power density or frequency of the radio waves of the radio communication, as a prescribed condition for estimating a situation of the passenger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】不要な救難信号の発信を減らし、乗船者が落水して救助が必要と予想されるときには速やかに救難信号を発信できるようにする。【解決手段】船舶1には、乗船者4が保有する携帯機200と無線通信を行うコントローラ100と、ランヤード停止スイッチ2とが搭載される。ランヤード停止スイッチ2は、乗船者4につながるランヤードコード5が引抜かれると作動し、船外機のエンジンを停止して停船させる。コントローラ100は、ランヤード停止スイッチ2が作動したことを検知、すなわち乗船者4が落水した可能性があることを検知すると、携帯機200との無線通信を開始する。そして、コントローラ100は、乗船者の状況を推定する所定の条件として、無線通信の電波の電力密度や周波数に関する条件に従って、救難信号の発信が必要であるか否かを判定する。【選択図】図1
