To provide a method and a system for a multi-modal movement plan framework for operating an automatic drive vehicle.SOLUTION: A process for operating an automatic driving vehicle receives driving environment data of the automatic driving vehicle including a route segment, divides the route segment into a plurality of route sub-segments, allocates a specific driving scenario included in one set of driving scenarios, respectively to each of the plurality of route sub-segments, allocates a first movement plan algorithm according to a first allocation driving scenario included in the set of driving scenarios, calls the first movement plan algorithm to generate a first trajectory set, and controls the automatic driving vehicle on the basis of the first trajectory set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
