To provide a manufacturing method for a lower rail capable of molding a projection on a bottom wall without deteriorating a slide function.SOLUTION: In a preliminary molding process, a pair of preliminary molding parts 101 which project smaller than a front side punching part 40a and a rear side punching part 40b are molded in the same projecting direction as that of both punching out parts with respect to a part along a molding scheduled part of corner parts 32 of molding scheduled parts of the front side punching side 40a and the rear side punching part 40b with respect to a blank material 100. In a bending process, a bottom wall 31, both first side parts 33 and the like are molded by bending the blank material 100 where the pair of preliminary molding parts 101 are molded in the preliminary molding process, and the corner parts 32 are molded respectively between the bottom wall 31 and both first side parts 33. In the punching process, the front side punching part 40a and the rear side punching part 40b are molded by punching molding the molding scheduled parts of both punching parts in a way that the pair of preliminary molding parts 101 are included with respect to the bottom wall 31 molded in the bending process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】スライド機能を損なうことなく底壁に凸部を成形可能なロアレールの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】予備成形工程にて、ブランク材100に対して前側打出し部40a及び後側打出し部40bの成形予定部位のうち隅部32の成形予定部位に沿う部位に対して両打出し部と同じ突出方向にて当該前側打出し部40a及び後側打出し部40bよりも小さく突出する一対の予備成形部101が成形される。そして、曲げ工程にて、予備成形工程により一対の予備成形部101が成形されたブランク材100を曲げることで底壁31及び両第1側部33等を成形するとともに底壁31と両第1側部33との間にそれぞれ隅部32が成形される。そして、打出し工程にて、曲げ工程により成形された底壁31に対して一対の予備成形部101を含めるように両打出し部の成形予定部位を打ち出すことで前側打出し部40a及び後側打出し部40bが成形される。【選択図】図7
