To separately detect an on-malfunction of a power source relay and an abnormal state of a discharge function that discharges a capacitor.SOLUTION: A pair of power source lines 13, 14 are connected to a high voltage battery 15 via power source relays 16, 17. Between the power source lines 13, 14, capacitors C1, C2 and inverters 1, 2, as motor drive devices, are connected. When a power source switch is off-operated, a control device 19 performs a shut-down process for bringing the power source relays 16, 17 into an off-state from an on-state, then, causes the inverters 1, 2 to perform discharge of the capacitors C1, C2 at different timings, and determines whether a capacitor voltage has decreased or not every time each converter 1, 2 is caused to perform discharge. Based on a result of determination made for each inverter 1, 2 whether a capacitor voltage has decreased or not, the control device 19 separately detects on-malfunction of each power source relay 16, 17 and an abnormal state of the discharge function of each inverter 1, 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電源リレーのオン故障と、コンデンサを放電させる放電機能の異常とを、区別して検出できるようにする。【解決手段】一対の電源ライン13,14は、電源リレー16,17を介して高圧バッテリ15に接続される。電源ライン13,14間にはコンデンサC1,C2及びモータ駆動装置としてのインバータ1,2とが接続されている。制御装置19は、車両の電源スイッチがオフ操作されると、電源リレー16,17をオンからオフさせる遮断処理を行った後、インバータ1、2のそれぞれに異なるタイミングでコンデンサC1,C2の放電を実施させると共に、各インバータ1,2に放電を実施させる毎に、コンデンサ電圧が低下したか否かの判定を行う。そして、制御装置19は、各インバータ1,2についての、コンデンサ電圧低下有無の判定結果に基づいて、電源リレー16,17のオン故障と、各インバータ1,2の放電機能異常とを、区別して検出する。【選択図】図1
