To prevent a subsequent vehicle from being adversely affected in a case where temporary driving force loss occurs.SOLUTION: A vehicle controller 50 comprises: a travel control unit 46 that controls an actuator AC; a position sensor 32a that detects that driving force loss in which driving force transmitted from an engine to wheels temporarily decreases has occurred, when the travel control unit 46 controls the actuator AC; a torque sensor 32b that detects actual driving force; and an approach suppression control unit 47 that performs an approach suppression control of suppressing the degree of approach of a subsequent vehicle to the own vehicle, when the driving force loss is detected by the position sensor 32a, and it is detected that the actual driving force detected by the torque sensor 32b has decreased to a predetermined value or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
