To provide a position adjustment assisting device that facilitates disposing a self-propelled trolley at a position where it can be connected to a pallet when a counterweight, the pallet, and the self-propelled trolley are combined and used as an integrated weight unit.SOLUTION: A position adjustment assisting device 100 comprises a relative position detection unit 71 for detecting a relative position of a carrier 83 of a self-propelled trolley 80 with respect to a pallet 40 in a width direction D2 of the carrier, a determination unit 52 that determines whether or not the self-propelled trolley 80 can be coupled to the pallet 40 based on a detection result by the relative position detection unit 71, and a notifying device 72 for notifying an operator of information on the result of determination by the determination unit 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
